Brittany Mahomes gushes over son Bronze’s very first eight-hour stretch

Brittany and Patrick Mahomes are enjoying life right now. Both are on top of the world and are really enjoying parenthood … well, Brittany definitely is.

With Patrick fully focused on rehabbing his ankle sprain in the leadup to Sunday’s AFC championship game against Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals, Brittany is loving what their son, Bronze, is doing.

Who are the current Super Bowl favorites?

For most parents, they know the trials and tribulations that come with a young baby, with sleeping patterns the biggest one. But for Brittany, Bronze has done something that has made her extremely happy … sleeping eight straight hours.

She took to her Instagram and posted about her son’s efforts overnight.

Now, as any parent can attest to, the feeling of having your young child essentially sleep through the entire night and not wake up every few hours is incredible.

Given what is at stake for Patrick and his Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, getting all the shut-eye he can will only bode well for sure.

Hopefully for the Mahomes family, Bronze’s eight-hour sleep isn’t a flash in the pan, and the pair can enjoy a good night’s sleep from now on.

While his son is sleeping through the night, Mahomes is dealing with the prospect of the hottest team in football in the Bengals this week as well dealing with a high ankle sprain. Per most NFL experts, depending on how severe the sprain is, it can take between three and six weeks to fully recover.

Mahomes is playing after one week.

We can only assume that this will drastically affect his mobility, and this is where many think the Bengals’ pass rush will have the edge and, in turn, what will win them the game.

Luckily for Mahomes, his game isn’t predicated on running, and he has the arm strength to make every throw. But what is troubling is that it is his back foot that is hurt.

He will struggle to generate power in his throws.

How the quarterback plays with his ankle injury will go a long way in determining who will punch their Super Bowl ticket on Sunday.
