Is Giannis Antetokounmpo playing tonight against the Indiana Pacers? | January 27, 2023

Milwaukee Bucks superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has been dealing with a right knee injury as of late. The injury kept Antetokounmpo sidelined for five games before he was able to return on Monday versus Detroit. The star forward has since suited up against Denver on Wednesday as well.

However, his name has once again popped up on the injury report ahead of tonight’s clash with the Indiana Pacers. Fortunately for Bucks fans, it appears to be just a precautionary measure as Antetokounmpo is listed as probable due to right knee soreness.

So as of now, all signs point to Antetokounmpo being able to play tonight.

Milwaukee will be facing an undermanned and struggling Pacers team (24-26, ninth in the Eastern Conference) who are without their star point guard Tyrese Haliburton. The Pacers have gone just 1-8 over their last nine games and are just 2-8 without Haliburton this season. Milwaukee may opt to give Antetokounmpo a lighter work load, especially if the game gets out of reach for Indiana.

Milwaukee (31-17, third in the East) has won nine straight games against Indiana dating back to Mar. 4, 2020.
