Speaking in their Netflix docuseries, “Harry & Meghan,” Harry said their step back from royal life caused a “wedge” between him and his brother.
Prince Harry opened up about his and William’s falling out in the Netflix docuseries, “Harry & Meghan.” Speaking in a confessional interview in Volume II, which aired on Netflix on Thursday, Harry said William’s press office traded stories about him and Meghan in order to protect him and Kate.
He also opened up about the Sandringham Summit in 2020, a meeting attended by Harry, William, their father Charles, and Queen Elizabeth to discuss the Sussexes’ step back from royal duties.
“It was terrifying to have my brother scream and shout at me, and my father say things that just simply weren’t true, and my grandmother quietly sit there and take it all in,” Harry said.
“I mean, the saddest part of it was this wedge created between myself and my brother so that he’s now on the institution’s side,” he said. “And part of that, I get. I understand, right? That’s his inheritance.”
