Xiaomi’s sub-brand, Redmi is gearing up for the launch of its upcoming C-series smartphone– Redmi 12C. Ahead of the launch, the smartphone has received various certifications.
As per a report by Xiaomiui, the Redmi 12C was recently spotted on the IMEI database bearing the model number 2212ARNC4L. The device was also listed on the FCC certification website, however, the listing did not reveal any information.
Another listing on the MIIT certification website has revealed some specifications of the upcoming Redmi smartphone. The Redmi 12C is expected to feature a 6.7-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution. The smartphone is expected to come in four RAM and storage options– 2GB RAM+32GB storage, 4GB RAM+64GB storage, 6GB RAM+128GB storage and 8GB RAM+256GB storage.
Redmi is reportedly working on the Redmi Note 12 4G. The smartphone was recently spotted on multiple certification websites.
According to a report by Xiaomiui, the smartphone has surfaced on the IMEI database hinting at the imminent launch. The device is likely to come as a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 10 Pro. As per the listing, the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G is codenamed as ‘sweet_k6a_global’, while the global variant is codenamed as ‘sweet_global’.
Redmi unveiled the Note 12 series in China two months back. The series comprises the Redmi Note 12, Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro+ models.
Redmi Note 12 series: Price, colours and availability
Redmi Note 12 comes at a starting price of CNY 1,199 (approximately Rs 13,600) for the base 4GB RAM +128GB storage variant. The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant costs CNY 1299 (approximately 14,600), while the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,499 (approximately Rs 17,000). Lastly, the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant comes at a price tag of CNY 1699 (approximately Rs 19,300).
